My Approach to Therapy
I work individually with adults both in-person and via telehealth. My therapy style balances the structure of evidence-based approaches with the flexibility needed to meet you where you are.
We will draw from several therapeutic frameworks to support your growth:
Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR): A specialized approach to processing past trauma or "survival strategies," helping you feel more secure in yourself and the world.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A balance of mindfulness and change that helps your mind become flexible, resilient, and focused on your values.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A way of exploring your thoughts and actions to experiment with new, more supportive ways of being in the world.
Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT): An approach rooted in human connection that takes into account how culture and systemic oppression impact our internal lives.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): A skills-based approach to help you navigate intense emotions, tolerate distress, and improve relationship concerns.
Let's find your unshakeable place.
My mission is to help you find the unshakeable place in you to guide you toward a life you may not believe to be possible.
